I bought a used 2016 Rzr 1000 and it has a box below the gauge in the center. It opens up to display a phone or a deeper box. But this box is loose. The owner said he had a navigation unit in there and he just put the box back in. It's bolted with one bolt in the back but I don't know why the whole thing moves around so much. Maybe it had foam padding or there are other bolts that need to go in.

But it would be nice to find a navigation system that fits nicely in there instead of the box.
If someone can recommend one I'd appreciate it. Or if you've done something else in this area that may be useful please let me know.

The opening at the bottom of the dash is Double-DIN sized, so I installed a double-DIN Android automotive stereo system which has a 7" touchscreen and integrated GPS. It works great, and is a much lower cost equivalent to the Polaris Ride Command system. (I'm running Back Country Navigator software for Android.)

The only downside is that it's not waterproof, but I live in Arizona, so I'm rarely in water.

Ah ok, smart for making it double din size! I may go the same route. I will be going to glamis and often to Ocotillo so same thing with me, never will get wet. thanks for the info!
