Hey guys, can anyone let me know what size tap/grease nipple that you used to run a vent line for the water pump weep hole. I have a 2013 rzr 800 if that matters. Thanks in advance.

I can't remember what size grease nipple I used but if you have a tap and die set then you can simply use that as a reference to what size grease nipple thread your gonna need. That's what I did. If you don't have a tap and die set its probably a good idea to have one when you own a Rzr. I've used it for several other areas on my Rzr too.

I used a 10-24 grease nipple and stuck a piece of hose on it. Just make sure you A. Drill out the center othe grease nipple and B. grease the tap so that any chips will stick in the grease instead of go into the weep hole. Wipe off and grease every couple turns to be on the safe side.

Perfect. Thanks guys.

Prevent dirt/debris H²O from getting into the weep hole and possible damaging water pump seal. But it is not supposed to be completely plugged, must be allowed to vent. The clear tube will allow you to eyeball if there is a seal problem.

Those seals aren't cheap either. Think it was either 35 or 45 dollars for one i bought. Been almost a year now with the weep hole vented and no problems. Just take the tap you plan to use with you to the hardware store and match the grease zirk to the tap.

She is a done deal. I tapped the hole with a 6mm x 1 tap. Inserted a straight grease nipple with no ball installed. Attached hose. Hose would not stay on nipple, even with hose clamp. So I installed a nipple with 45deg angle. Harder to get hose over. Put hose clamp on. Routed hose up high and looped it a couple times. Should be styling now. :)
