After long consideration it was decided to switch over to Kings internal bypass shocks. I had a little accident at the dunes so she's getting another make over with long travel and few other changes. Anyone have experience with kings? I also listed my Fox shocks in the classified if you know someone wanting to upgrade their XP1000. I'm losing all the plastic also and going thin aluminium panels like the rear. Turbo is getting the Bikeman mod also. I'll have a pile of parts if anyone needs something PM me.

I have a couple of friends that switched over to King shocks in '16 XPTs.

For one I can tell you they didn't seem to get as hot.

Compared to the Fox'es in my '16 XPT they gave for a more confident ride in turns and over whoops but I haven't really tuned mine much and have no idea what those guys had done.

I will say however that I have one friend that races Ultra 4 (KOH winner X2) and another that races Trophy Trucks and they swear by King Shocks. If money was no object I would probably get them too!

I had king's and they are not magic, Shock therapy runs RC2's on the house car so, I think that will be my next choice, So depends on where you are buying and who is going to get them dialed in, no shock is set up for every different riding style, so you need to get them dialed for your riding style! I also have long travel as well, Kings still had problems fitting all my riding conditions.

I have the Kings and they are amazing. Still have to meet up with King in the desert for my free shock tune. We have a large group of RZRs and everyone went different directions on the shocks. Some have shock therapy work done, others had walker evens 2.5 front and reworked rears, fox Rc2 and so on. Out of the box with no tuning on the Kings, a few of the guys have said that my car rides the best out of the group.

If you live near Barstow or do not mind making the trip. King will set up a time for you to meet them in the desert. They will watch your car go through some spots and then tune the shock for free one time. If the car needs new spring you have to buy those. Pretty sweet IMO.

Plus they look sooooo nice!

I still think it is one of the best upgrades I have done to increase performance.
