Is anyone running the Super Swamper SSR LT tires? I am looking at the 27x9.50R14. It looks like the weight will be around 7-10lbs more per corner than I am currently running. These tires would hopefully get me much more tire life than I am currently getting.

I dont see anything wrong with your plans, if you want to shave some more weight off those tires you can buy a tire groover and open up the tread pattern a little.

As for me this is my plans for my XP 900. Just bought my groover off ebay, works awesome on my other tires in the shop so far.

Since they come in 27" I will probably run these also when my big horns wear out.

I went ahead and ordered them today, they will cost $160 per tire plus tax. These should get me much more life for on road riding/cruising the desert around here.

Now I need to start saving my pennies for a set of 12" beadlocks with a dedicated set of off-road tires. Does anyone else have 3 sets? I must be crazy...

Wanted to update this thread. I have had these tires on for about 700 miles so far and they have been great. Took them to Moab and they did fine. So far, I would highly recommend these to anyone looking for a better wearing tire for their RZR.

I think it looks killer, nice set up. did you change you clutch at all?

I had actually clutched it a few months back. My RPM is the same with these tires so there was no need to change anything.
