I had to park on a steep hill behind my house. Not that bad but started spinning in loose soil and had my daughter in it so thought I be safe than sorry. Put it in park got her out and went to go pull forward and I have pulled and pulled on gear shift and it will not budge!!! Rocked it back and forth and everything. what am I going to have to do? Really made me mad cause if I was far off I dont know what I would do?

Some of the vendors on this forum sell a parking brake set up. They look like they work and are not to big a deal to install. I don't think they should have put a park on the gear shift if it doesn't work but it is there. When you apply your brake pedal at the first pivot point you will see a small space open about 1/4". I took a small piece of 1"x1"
1/4" angle welded a short handle on it. When I am in a steep parking area I apply the brakes and slip this in that pivot spot. It works great and simple to make. When you want to remove it just apply the brakes take it out and put in the box under your seat for the next time you need it.
