Hey,

Most of the time when i come back from riding i try to wash the rzr before leaving it in the garage. It is not heated. Should i be concerned leaving it in there all wet like that?

I put mine up wet and muddy. We rode all day today and got home in enough time to grab dinner, clean up and get ready for the Walking Dead. LOL They'll still be dirty tomorrow. I'll clean them up after work.

I put mine up wet, but I usually put a piece of plastic down so I don't mees up the carpet! Also there's always a clump of mud that fall off after I've cleaned every nook and cranny.

I usually take the leaf blower to mine after washing. then start it and let it run for a bit but sometimes I just park it wet if I'm running short on time . Not that I'm worried about the water hurting it but I hate all the water spots left on it. Looks much better when blow dried and only takes a few minutes

My RZR is kept outside but covered. I want it dry before covering because I worry about the harnesses being wet and possibly developing rot, and just the residual moisture getting into the electronics causing corrosion. Maybe I worry too much since my other vehicles are always outside with no noticeable problems, but I do see noticeable damage to tie down straps when left outside and have had replace them sooner than I wanted.

I don't wash mine until I can let it set out to dry. Mainly cause I don't want all the water in my shop floor. If your just worried about the machine its self then just point a fan at it in the garage.

It'll dry eventually...
If you're leaving it sit for a longer time you should do the standard stuff of putting Sta-bil in your fuel; etc...

My RZR sits in either in my trailer or in my un-heated garage area out at work.
I do try to stop by it every so often and start it up just to keep it charged and stuff.

The bad part with mine is that if it's in the trailer I don't have any power to keep the battery charged. I'm working on getting a solar tender hooked up.

Oh; and I rarely wash my RZR unless it has been through a lot of shallow water/mud areas or if I'm going to be working on it.

That might be true but why In the hell would anyone wash their RZR if its that cold.. We stop washing vehicles when the temp drops below probably 50f much less 50 below....

The water could freeze creating sharp points and if you try to drive it the ice could damage rubber like seals, axle boots, and etc.. If you don't try to drive it everything should be fine.. Although water could get in tight crevice's and freeze, if it does it could bust/brake something.. I lost a mirror early in the year due to this, I had a rear view mirror and I guess when I washed the bike a small amount of water got in behind the glass so when it froze the mirror shattered..
