Been having starting issues with my xp900,2011. It turns over just fine. I replaced the fuel pump 2 weeks ago and solved my issue. Then the issue returned. My battery is maintained on a trickle charger, is old but voltage is good. I replaced it just in case and no change. I don't hear the fuel pump cycle when I turn on the key, however I believe it may cycle once I turn the key off for a second or two. Any ideas? Also I don't run fuel with ethanol. Rick

If you don't hear the pump, either it's bad again or you're not getting juice to it. I'd check for voltage to the pump and go from there. Curious whose pump you used? I just ordered a Quantum that I'm hoping solves my warm start issue. I could hear mine just fine and it pumped 57 psi, but it's the only logical thing I could come up with for a problem.

Explain what you said, the pump runs when you turn the key off? Or meaning on the second try? Could be an ignition switch, or relay I suppose if you're not getting voltage to the pump.
