Thanks for posting that Cliff, I was going to do it but forgot about it! It sounds like every machine out there is prolly like mine was.
starter cables rubbing through transmission case
When MotoXXX and I were installing a turbo on his RZR we noticed that the starter cables had been rubbing on the transmission case so much that they were wearing grooves into the case. These cases aren't super thick, so we moved the cables to the other side of the vent line to rub in a new spot.
I checked mine today and it was the same.
