Hello I have the same problem, replaced battery in remote, and cant get to work. too expensive to just get something else, damn thing, plus i didnt get ipod holder, it just flopps around in the case, sucks.

 

i agree isnt loud at all as soon as I get it fixed it will be for sale. Ive had nothing but problems. I had to wait 3 weeks for new remote. Trevor is a stand up guy though.

 

I have a simular problem, its almost like the remote loses sync. Tried a new battery and a new remote still does it every once and awhile. If you pull the battery and reinstall it it eventually will work again. Are you guys also useing an I-phone? next time out i am going to try it on airplane mode and see if that helps. (as someone else has suggested)

 

I had the amp fail on me. I had to send the whole ipod holder back. I didnt have to take out the whole unit out though.

To solve the flopping around inside the case issue though is easy. Use the strap that is in it and strap it up. Then take a piece of styrofoam and push that in between the end of the ipod and the plastic case. I use one more to sandwich between the phone and door. It holds it securely.
