I would bet its cv bind. Jack your machine up and try to rotate each wheel to see what's binding. If one is bound up the unbolt one end of the shock and lift that wheel up a little. It will be pretty easy to tell if it's the cv binding up. You mentioned that there is a "little" cv binding. A little is still too much. You don't want to ever feel cv bind whatsoever at full droop. You will destroy a cv that way only options are put limiting straps on or maybe drill a couple new holes in the lift kit to raise the wheel up enough to eliminate binding.

 

at full droop it has just a nudge of drag. The problem is at driving level is when it seems like something is bound up not at droop. its like it compressins the shocks down.

 

Sounds like brakes stickin to me.."binding up", .."shocks compressing"..Next time it happens, pump on the braks some to see if it will let loose....this happenned to once but It quit after I replaced the master cylinder

 

its also not all the time it has just done it a time or two.

 

If it does it when your letting off the throttle make sure your steering arms are mounted under the hub and not on top that will make the toe adjustment go crazy when shocks compres. Also check your toe in.

 

My 570 has done this also had a lift kit on it thought it was cv bind took it off done it twice last weekend. Feels like front end is bound up can't turn feel the binding through steering wheel.Usually does it after coming to a complete stop. Put it in reverse back up couple feet then its ok.

 

thats exactly how mine is i can feel it through the steering wheel usually caliper pull to one side if its one or the other. ine dont pull just acts like your putting the brakes. when it does it you can put in neutral and cant hardly get it to roll , once the suspension frees back up it seems fine. I have checked everything and cant seem to find the prob.

 

Sounds like the front diff is locking in 4 wheel drive mine does that every once and a while if I stop and back up it will free up

 

Something on my 2010 razr 800 is doing this I just installed a super Atv 5 inch suspicion lift and u will be driving doing about 15 mph and all of a sudden it feels like something binding up.. U can give it more throttle and let off and it slows down quick with out touching the brake... I need some help here guys I think it's transmission or front diff

 

This sounds like what I've been experiencing for years. If I back up with the steering wheel cranked to either side, I'll feel the bind when I start forward. As others have said, backing up a bit will relieve the bind and allow you to proceed normally.
