Now how hard is this to replace? I work 6 days a week and spend late nights in the garage (how this happened in the first place) so I’m curious as to what I’m looking at

The hardest & timely part will be removal / installation of the trans. Actually replacing the shaft will be fairly easy. Split the case, remove old shaft and remove the bearings, press bearings on new shaft and install. Clean & reseal the case - install trans. You will need a secondary clutch removal tool or make one.

Measure that hole for me and I will make you a guide with a 1/4" hole through it. Then gently drill until you get it started. Drill then easy out

I am at work and can’t measure it right now but thank you for the help..... where are you located

Been following this drama. Congratulations - could not have asked for a better ending.

Please post on how you went about drilling the bolt (centered)
an what you used to remove it??
It’s good information for anyone that may run into this. Glad it went well!!
