Was looking to buy this but can't find any videos or sound clips. I know it's supposed to be 2db above stock but don't want it annoyingly loud. Slp just told me it was deeper sounding like a sports car so that didnt help
Much. Was wondering if anyone runs this or has heard it?

Thanks

Never been around a RZR 800 with Performance Slip-On Silencer, but I really like my SLP Super Silent Muffler. and had lots of good comments about how quite it is.

Hey Harperky,
No sound clip. The combination of the SLP Slip On, (+77% airflow), and the Power Commander 5 with Autotune really helped bring the performance out of the 800. I also have the EPI trail clutch set up with 71 gr weights, (stk is 66 gr), which delays clutch engagement until it's into the power band a little more.
I use 90 octane alcohol free fuel and couldn't be more pleased with set up.
How much HP gain. Who knows, maybe 6-8. The throttle response is great and you feel the improvement in the seat of your pants.
The machine is not loud...

I have this slip on exhaust on both my 2008 Rzr 800 and my 2014 Rzr 4 800. I changed it out and the wife never noticed. It does sound deeper and only a tiny bit louder. On the 2008 I put 27 inch tires and wondered where my horsepower went. The pipe brought them back. It's a bit quieter on the 2008 due to the header pipe differences.

I made a quick recording on the 2014 at idle. About 10 seconds in I got into the cab and revved the engine. Not sure how to upload a sound clip so if you PM me your email address I'll send it to you.

I love the pipe and I do not use a fuel controller (it's not required).
