I have a 2015 RZR 900 4, with 9000 miles on it....yesterday while on the trail, the RZR started to "slip" . Then I could hear a metal knocking or grinding noise as I acelerated.. Thought it could be the drive belt, but probably not.. Was able to limp back to my home , 9 miles out, going 20-30 mph.. Any ideas of what might be wrong with the RZR? Can't see any oil leaks either..

Just to add one more note, the noise appears to be coming for the left rear area of the RZR..

Yes.

Belt and or clutch issue would be where I would start. Have you pulled the cover and inspected?

OP stated it was probably not the belt

20-30 mph isn't limping either.

Take the clutch cover off and inspect. If you are hearing metal noises you chances are something is worn out in your clutches like a roller or something.
