I think my shifter cable requires more force to move than it should. Is there a way to lube it and with what? If not, I'm guessing you just replace it...I assume this is a dealer part, how much?

Mine had corrosion in the ends from water getting past the bellows. I slipped back the bellows and use some emery cloth to remove what corrosion I could. Then I took the pins off both ends and worked the cable back and forth with some WD40 until it started working smooth again. Works like new again.
