Guys we will see what we can do, but please remember these are side mirrors, not rear view mirrors. You will never be able to see directly b hind the machine while going straight unless they stick out completely passed the sides of the machine. I look behind me when I take corners so I can make sure the guy behind me is still there. Moving them up does help because it removes some of the body from being in the way.

The problem is with mine, when the mirror is in the proper detent I'm looking at myself... and that isn't all that great. I have to push it forward in order to see the side of the machine.

If you are in the 2nd detent and you are looking at yourself, make sure you have adjusted the glass itself and if you have then just rotate the clamp out to get a better view. These mirrors have a huge range of adjustment, they just don't allow for a view directly behind the machine while going straight.

I worked on the drawing a bit more to show this could be a coupling to extend out the mirror a bit more. All original hardware could be the same. I think a longer bolt to clamp this all in place is needed too.

I spoke with the guys and I hope to have a prototype turned soon. Once I verify that they aren't going to vibrate, and retain the strength we are looking for I'll let you guys know.

So here is the first extension, I'm not a fan of the looks for sure but I guess if it achieves a goal then ok. It does vibrate at idle a little but clears up pretty quick. This one 1.5".

Looks good Jody. Are you riding at GNHSR with the forum group this weekend? If so I will be out there. Leaving tomorrow. Wouldn't mind seeing some more up close photos. Cylinder looks like groved metal on the outside or maybe it's the lighting I can't tell. Anyway our camping spot is at the lowest end of the park. I have a Montana 5th wheel we leave on a spot for 6 months there.

Sorry but I won't be at the ride this year, just got to much going on to make it. The extensions we made were printed so they are abs.
