How about making the BEST rear view side Mirrors out there (and customer service) even better.
I bet you guys could develop this in no time, and it would sell.
My tires are still further out than this mirror extension kit.
Your break away design would protect the mirror.
Tired of seeing so much of my roll cage in my view.
We need some RZR Forum feedback guys...
If you like this, post a "YES" reply so manufacturer can gauge interest.
How about it Jody, you like?

I'll be back in the office on Wednesday and I'll see what the engineers say about an extension of some kind. Have you maxed out the glass adjustment and rotated the clamp to try and get the view you want. I can make mine adjust so there isn't any roll cage in my view.

Thanks for the reply Jody. This is my rig. I don't think I have any other options. You can see the tires are out past the mirror and that the center part of the factory roll cage is out beyond the mirror. Just seeing what you guys could come up with.

Make sure you are in the second detent then try rotating the clamp out some to push the mirror out a little to see if that helps. You can also loosen the bolt on the back of the mirror to allow you to adjust the glass further

It's good to bounce this idea off you guy's Thanks Brad I am liking your idea but I am thinking two-inches would be nice and it wouldn't extend that far out to be a problem.

So this 2nd revision could be it. If you guy's could indicate your preference.

I would be interested. I can not get the adjustment needed out of the drivers side mirror. Jody was very helpful in trying to get it adjusted right but still no go. I was just going to tweak the bracket or something.

Guys we will see what we can do, but please remember these are side mirrors, not rear view mirrors. You will never be able to see directly b hind the machine while going straight unless they stick out completely passed the sides of the machine. I look behind me when I take corners so I can make sure the guy behind me is still there. Moving them up does help because it removes some of the body from being in the way.

Thanks Jody for your thoughts and feedback. I have a rear view mirror too.

Scratch that first drawing, I am liking this 2nd design better. I think it would be rather simple to make that cast part deeper with a longer bolt to retain it. Only looking for two-inches more, in that round about area. I know there is also a desire not to have it stick out to far.

In my original thoughts I was thinking of a small section of PVC pipe to prototype this further out placement. Again it would be awesome if you guys had a kit for doing this. Thanks for being so receptive. John

The problem is with mine, when the mirror is in the proper detent I'm looking at myself... and that isn't all that great. I have to push it forward in order to see the side of the machine.
