Secondary clutch problems..

I went out to my buddies lease the other day and road around with him for several hours. All of a sudden I heard a knocking/squealing noise coming from behind me. After that it felt like the belt was slipping and at some points in the ride back, almost as if it had popped off completely. I tried high gear and occasionally could get it to move (in desperation to try and get to the trailer to load up) but would Rev. but not move. I tried low and once I got started I couldn't stop for too long or else i got the same belt slipping feeling. Got to the trailer and to the house where i went to work on changing the belt, oil, etc. Imagining the belt would be melted all over my belt box, I removed the belt box and found a pretty solid belt, slight wear, but not 100x better than what it sounded like. I changed the belt and oil, cleaned up what I could of the primary clutch, and gave it a test drive after sealing the box and air filter again. Right off the bat the same problem presented itself. After searching the forums for 2 hours I could not find a situation such as as mine (or missed it) but tried to make all the checks that people suggested. I found that the secondary clutch seems to be sticking and jumping while in drive and trying run while the back end is lifted. Any ideas?

What year?

If it just revs and won't go that normally would be the primary not closing on the belt to make it move

Goes like this, if you take the cover off, put in gear and the primary grabs the belt and starts turning the secondary clutch but is jerky and won't move and you see the belt is not slipping then inside the tranny is broken

It is a 2013. I have the rear end lifted and the tires off the ground and placed in high gear, the primary compresses, the secondary and tires will move but it makes and bad clanking noise. Some times it will stick and not spin the secondary but I place it in reverse and it will break free and I will be able to move again in high with the same banging and clanking sound. Could this be the rear differential? Hoping it's not the transmission.... I will drain the oil and see what looks worse when I get time.
