I’m installing my turbo transmission into my XP. The 2020 inner cover I have has 2 o-rings to seal around the crank stub & trans input shaft.

Do the bolt heads seal well enough against the case to keep water out, or are most people putting a little sealant around the holes on the backside of the cover?

I ended up pulling the cover back off and putting Yamabond around all the holes on the cover, motor and transmission. A little extra work but won’t have to worry about water getting in now.
