Looking to see what you guys recommend for some sand tires. Seems to be a lot of people recommend the bald style or buff style for the fronts but wondered how great they are for trails? We ride at Little Sahara in Waynoka Oklahoma and do quite a bit of technical tight trail riding and having a tire that turns quick and doesnt push the front end is very important. Also i'd like to run a 14" wheel for the sand just for looks. Thanks!

In the Sand stay with a 12 for more flotation! So do you drive sand more or trail? What trail conditions? Rock, Dirt, or Sand? All around the Big Horn is a good combo tire, but if your 90% sand then a sand set will work better! They wear out fast on the trail!

Its 99% sand but do run across a newly developed trail on occasion thats dirt

and blow out on trails...sand tires are very very thin
Yeah thats one thing I was think that if I went went a shaved or buff style paddle I might be making quite a few patches.

They have Sand Trails down in OK. We have 14" paddle tires and 14" Mohawks in stock, that are 10" wide for the front and 12" wide for the rear. Advantage of a 12" set over 14" set is the weight.

Okay i'll check them out, thanks

Thanks for all the suggestions. Ended up going with the DWT Doonz in the rear and the ITP Dune Star for the fronts all on DWT Red Labels 12x10 rear and 12x8 front. Will see how they do here in a few weeks
