Sand tire questions???

I bought my 08 RZR a couple years ago with and it came with a stock motor and it came with a set of ITP 2" offset wheels with 4 Dune Star paddles mounted. I am in the process of adding a turbo to the machine and I have added a 4.5" wide travel kit with exit shocks. I am wondering what this setup (wheels and tires) will act like with paddles on all 4 corners running a turbo?

Is it possible to shave the front paddles to look like mowhawks? Do I need to change these out? I ride in the Oregon dunes.

I have my stock steel wheels I use in the dirt I would like to upgrade those also to some nicer wheels and better dirt tires.

Well in my opinion sell the rear dune-star paddles and get skat-track 8 paddles because you are turbo on dwt red label,PM Dave from FSS he his a great guy that could help you.

The dune stars don't get the best reviews for some reason.
Scats have been the most popular.
Now the STU Blasters are starting to be used more.
The STU paddles can be cut differently for different HP.

The front dune-star could be used because it have more grip for the front and help with sterring,Tuf-Skin gave good information that will help in your search.

Crazywatson runs paddles all the way around with a turbo and the thing climbs like a cat:rofl3: I would try it and see how you like it before spending any money:ride:

x2 on contacting Dave at Fullerton Sand Sports, they know what works and what doesn't with different levels of motor mods and different driving styles.

I am with Bones Dave is a a very helpful guy,you could go another route Bones make some nice beadlock wheels that looks awesome.
