Or Mexico lol! Wow, I guess thats something to look into aswell. Thanks for the insight guysSomething "appears" to be diff with the 2010 cranks..there are more failures when boosting on the 2010 compared with 08's and early 09's. Maybe they are made in china now.:question:Newer RZR? By that you mean low hours or the 2010 model year? I believe the motor configurations between the 09 and 2010 S are the same so please elaborate if you could. Thanks banshee!Like chris was saying dont go over 8 PSI on a stock RZR engine, especially if its a newer rzr. You WILL TWIST THE CRANK!!
Good luck![]()
at the same levels...if you don't believe me call brad at aerocharger...something is diff about the 2010...just weld and pin it..Mike, are people boosting them at the same levels everyone always has been, or are they pushing the limits? We haven't heard anything yet, although we did hear they were having transmission problems early in 2010, but immediately came out with a new gear set or something like that to fix the problem...not really sure.
Chris
Well, definitely news to me. Was trying to avoid any internal work until I'm ready for a big bore or something along that line. I guess we'll see how she holds up. Maybe I'll go down to 7 pounds to be safe
I pretty sure race fuel above 109 is leaded, that can mess with your AFR, if you use it allot you will need a new 02 sensor more oftenI thought it would be too. Clutching was way off. Andrew mentioned a few people with the stage 2 and 3 have been seeing this. He has really been helping out by sending the weights out by the way. Great guy to deal with! Blew right through the 7K soft limiter at 6900 with the stage 2 sticky EPI belt(Told worth roughly 10 added grams) and 68's. I tried the 78's last night and could only manage 6100-6200 at 7psi. Going back up to 8psi and trying 76's tomorrow. I'm trying to flash it at 6600-6700 and hold 6500-6600. A/F, clutching, and psi dialing seem to be giving me a bit of a fit in the mean time...I ran into some slight oddities with the aerocommander but seems to be fine now. A/F was basically all over the board and one time the boost signal was stuck on the commander at idle giving me a low 10 AFR idle. I restarted the rzr and it went away and hasnt returned. More of my tuning may have to wait until next week. Hit 100 today with 70% humidity. Even my truck is throwing a fit at these temps! Thanks for the post upI'm running 11 lbs at sea level, 110 race gas. It wasn't setup at Aero?

it's about a 10% chance of a prob. good luck...you might wanna play it safe and just weld and pin it...i think it's about 400 bones..

I just dropped Crazy Watson's new crank off at Crank Works, it's right around $150.00 to have it pinned and welded...
Your correct Mike I just wanted to let him know Crank Works fee's so he could add the mechanic's fee's to that for a total price...it's about a 10% chance of a prob. good luck...you might wanna play it safe and just weld and pin it...i think it's about 400 bones..

the 400.00 included the labor to remove it and put back together...I may have read his post wrong, i thought he didnt want to do it himself..
Whats involved with removing the crank on these things? I would assume pulling the motor. $400.00 seems extremely cheap for what these shops are charging for just the little things. I will likely do myself depending on what involved, specialty tools, and so on.
