i was thinking about buying the frame and swapping everything from my 08 rzr over.

my question is will the majority of parts line up? i know i need a new cage, new skid, floor board, extend brake line, drive shaft, and harness and stuff like that.

anyone try it yet?

Lemme know if you do it. I'll be replacing the stock cage (which has been cut down) fairly soon. If you're interested, I'm not too far from you.
I have just the cage scheduled to go into my paint shop today, but probably won't get around to swapping it out until all the airbrush work is done on the doors and roof....once I figure out what that will be.

So it would probably be around the first half of October or so.

Look through the Parts Fiche http://parts.polarisind.com/Browse/Browse.asp..should give you a good idea of what will and won't transfer over if you have a question whether something is different or not..
Right off hand in addition to what you listed, add ..shift linkage cable, throttle cable, coolant lines/hoses,front prop shaft and bearing..sure I'll think of more..
As for the wiring IMO..you'd be better off just buying the neede RZR 4 harnesses than to try to lengthen everything IMO..unless your time isn't worth much.
