Does anyone know if shocks from RZR 4 will bolt up on to an rzr s without modification? Has anyone tried this? Any input is appreciated

It is a direct swap. I have the RZR-4 suspension on my RZR-S and it does get rid of some the sag. It lifts it 2-3".
How hard is the ride now? When you say "it lifts it 2-3 inches" Did you adjust the sag at all? How is the ride now that you have them on?

Thanks.

The suspension is stiffer and still rides good. It is more of a firm feel than mushy like stock.

I did not adjust the preload on the springs. Not sure if they were still at stock settings though. Need to find a stock RZR-4 and check.

Take the weight off of the wheels (otherwords put on a jack) and measure the shock shaft, then put the RZR back on the ground and measure the shock shaft agian. You should be looking at ±20% less measurment. The shaft length is 6" (I believe) So you'll be looking for prolly 1.25"-1.50" less. Depending what you like to have... Then you will have a petty good starting point for ride height or sag if you will...

Chop.
