RZR-S Belt Issues

I recently put 30" Silverbacks on my 2011 RZR-S. I had also put an EPI Mudder Clutch Kit in it. Was out riding today and my clutches were making a squealing noise at low RPM then would go away once I gained speed. I had also noticed that belt fuzz was coming out of my snorkle for my belt exhaust. I am on my second belt already with under 100 miles on it and thinking this one is going to blow soon. I have Snorkles on it that go to the top of the roof then 180 degree tips on them. Is this causing less air flow into my clutches? Anyone had these same problems or know what I can do to fix it?

Belt fuzz is bad I would call EPI ASAP and get advice since you installed their "clutch kit"

Belts should last thousands of trouble free miles.

If they blame your snorkel setup or anything else you may have done to the system ask why and how, make them go into great detail the details should be so good you then can go personally verify if their theories are correct or not then make adjustments to your system to eliminate the conditions you have created that is destroying the belts.

My experience has been most belt and clutching answers are 'feelings' rather than fact or a exact science in reality CVT systems are a science trick is getting the proper info from the people who your asking more often than not people want to get off the phone ("its your snorkel good bye")

I have mine snorkeled AND am running 32" Terminators with zero problems so far (with no clutch kit). I agree with what the others have said.....probably an issue with the EPI kit. Did you install a OEM belt when you replaced your first belt?

If the belt is slipping, it often results in tiny fuzzy pieces. In my experience with the clutch, mine was set far too tight and I saw the fuzz you described. I had too loosen mine up just a tad. My main mechanic said that being too loose can do the same thing. Since I replaced mine and had it adjust properly, I have not see not seen this issue. It has well over 1500 miles on the replaced belt when the original one only lasted about 600 miles. I also snorkeled my machine and the whining noise is much more noticeable, but normal.
