I live in Meridian. Our club rides all over the Owyhees (Fossil Butte, Silver City, Whiskey Mountain) and in the Boise Mountains east of Boise (Horseshoe Bend, Idaho City, Anderson Ranch Reservoir, Atlanta, and other points of interest).

I have parked my 5th Wheel toy hauler, up in MacKay land, the last 3-4 summers. Terrific views and friendly town-folk (Law included). One of my most favorite riding areas (there are many in Idaho) is Eight mile canyon, just outa Soda Springs ID. Virtually every trail is a loop and there are trails for every level of experienced riders. The views is astounding and the creeks are always stocked with fish. Trails range from 50" only, to the largest of RzRs, take your pick. I just moved to Blackfoot and would like to try to hook up with others riding in this area. If you hit MacKay this summer and would like to ride, I'm In.

@Denver that's about 250+ miles away from me. I'd need at least a toy hauler and about 3 day weekend to make it worthwhile. That said, I've driven from Meridian to Stanley, ridden 25+ miles 1 way just to drop my kayak from the roof of the RZR into prestine mountain lakes on a "day trip."

Yellowstone Area Camping & Riding

Planning to spend a week this summer in the West Yellowstone/Island Park area. Will be in a motorhome with an enclosed RZR trailer and looking for suggestions on Campgrounds close to trail access, Destinations, Trails (60"), Etc. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks>>>>>>>>>>

Any campground in IP is accessible to all of the trails! Great place to ride but some of the campgrounds won’t allow machine in your campsite, need to store them in a lot they have available.
