Hello,

I purchased a 2009 RZR in April of 2010 and I've noticed it is quite difficult to shift at times. My terrain is relatively flat and the RPM's are normal, but sometimes I have to rock it back and forth or pump the brake several times before I can shift between gears.

Is this normal behavior for a new RZR ?

Thanks,
Dave

No,make sure your are completely stopped before shifting. And on level ground. And think about adding a parking brake. And check out your shifter linkages for being lose or binding.
But the pumping the brakes think....check the brake calipers? Don't know why that should help you shift?
Hope this helps.

your primary clutch may not be disengaging , three rollers inside clutch may have a flat spot on them ,,if you dont pull the clutch cover off once in awile and blow out the dust inside , the belt dust acts like sand and wears out the rollers ect ,,compressed air use , pull clutch cover off and look to see if secondary clutch is spining at idle if it is theres a problem in clutch primary ....
