You said the control arms look fine, and the tie rod does to. What about the spindle?

 

:scared2: Do u have pics. Sound like u may have bent the upper and lower a arm, maybe the tie rod, maybe the frame. But i am sure u bent a noggin. Need pics

For your sake hope it is the arms and tie rods cause if they are fine then you have a much bigger problem on your hands (frame). It sounds like it would have made a great "first time out" video. I hope you get well and if you plan on getting crazy near trees wear a helmet.

 

I'm curious if you were wearing the seat belt but still hit your head?

I have a full set of new suspension for sale....... A-arms shocks and sway bars $450 free shipping to lower 48

 

I put mine in a washout here in AZ and the driver side tire is about 1.5 to 2 inches closer to the plastic than the pass. side.......frame bent... I tried to replace the A arms and tie rods first and then realized the difference. Called my insurance company.

 

Take it to a body shop they can probably pull the frame back to where it needs to be.

if it makes you feel any better my wife hit me the first time i took her out for a ride..lol but I was wearing a helmet so no harm was done...lol

 

No seat belt, I had just unloaded it and took a spin around the yard ..I had only owned it /road it for 5 min..........:sad:

 

I dont think pics will do any good as I can see nothing. I own a collision repair shop so I kind of know what to look for but when everything on the right looks the same as everything on the left I can tell what would make it set back further than the right side......What would someone on here sell me the left side upper and lower control arms and the spindle...thats all it could be besides where they mount to the frame.?

 

im still betting on the frame thats were almot everyone with a simular problem as yours has ended up with...

 

Don't have this kind of experiance with the RZR but every time I did it in my go kart/buggy it was the spindle. Once it was the spindle AND the frame. I'm sure you know to check the frame for kinks and popped paint. Looking at the spindles I could never see the bend, but after replacing the spindle all was well again.

 

There have been lots of problems with the long bolt on the lower arm bending too. Where are you located? Someone is bound to be near you, where you can at least check straight parts along side yours. It comes apart easy, pull that front end apart & you're sure to find the problem pretty quick.

 

Sometimes it seems a little overkill, but I ALWAYS wear my helmet & belts.

 

Check your bottom bolt and the crush sleeve on the lower arm. I bent my three times already.

Well I have decided to take it with me to work and put it on the frame machine and pull all of the left front suspension back around cause I am pretty sure none of the componets are bent so we will see what happens.

 

Crush sleeve goes in the center of your bushings. Polaris calls them pivot tubes.

My buddy looked at mine and was gonna but it on a frame machine but was afraid if he anchored to one side and tried to putt the other side it would tweak the other side...said frames are pretty weak

 

I know how you feel, three weeks after i bought my RZR my nephew drove it straight into a tree. To make it worst it was on my wedding night while i was on my way to the honeymoon. 6 months and and $1300.00 later it's finaly fixed. Unfortunately it did bend the frame just enough to irritate me but it's not affecting it's drivability. $1300 That could have been alot of Add-ons to the RZR. Best of luck
