I did a forum search and didn't come up with much, the Polaris and Moose heaters are way to much, IMO. I know it is summer and I might be the only RZR owner thinking about a heater, but I want my crap together by early fall.

I am going to use a Polaris soft cab, I know a guy that turned the snorkel from his belt around and used the heat from that blowing into his soft cab, but does not work good if you are sitting idle on the lake.

I did the polaris heater, from what I have seen in other makes, I am glad I did. The fit is much better, and it is entirely out of your way.

:shhh:

My Summit heater is tucked back under the center of the dash, I don't have any pictures but it is not in the way. It puts out 28,000 BTU's. I have been real happy with it. The Polaris one is a nice looking heater and I am sure it works good too. The Summit is just an economical alternative.
No doors so I don't have any fogging issues. They do offer a vent kit for the summit to address fogging issues. I have the vent kit but haven't installed it. I have under $200 in mine with all fittings hoses, vent kit, etc.

I made mine from scratch. Bought a new heater core for a 1980 Chevy pickup. Built a metal box around it, drilled holes in the back and cut out the front. Bought trans cooler off eBay. Mounted it to the firewall and hooked it into the coolant system. Works great and have <$45 in it total.

We are just introducing our new heater from Motoalliance. It's right here and we are running a current 10% special off for Forum members: CABHEATER10 is the discount code. The units can be seen right here: https://motoalliance.com/Site.Store.go?action=gotoProductDetails&id=661

We have a full defrost kit with multiple louvers and high quality components like stainless steel clamps, patented unicoil, etc. It comes with full instructions and RZR specific mounting brackets. I'll be putting another announcement out there too.

We are working on pictures, but we'd love to speed up the process. We are currently working on a Wildcat winch mount in our facility. Anyone who wants to get a cab heater and send some high quality pictures back of their installation and mounting can get a 25% discount from us on the unit. Let me know if you are interested. We can do this with a few of you.

Thanks!

I did the same thing my first winter with my RZR, which was just last year, but heading into my second winter I would like to add a heater. I'm getting too old for this chit :) I have front/rear windshields, roof and doors so my RZR stays fairly warm but the addition of a heater would be great. Last winter I just dressed as if I was going skiing and that was sufficient but this year i'm ready for a heater.

Just got back from a two week hunting trip. Used the Summit heater every day. Would not go without it. I now have the Shock Pro canvas doors. Run the heater on low only on 15-20 degree mornings. No pictures, but people don't even notice it up under the center of the dash. Would not go without it. Just about everyone that rides with me adds a heater to their RZR. Just my experience.
