Hey guys im new and new to RZR's. i just bought my sons a rzr 170 last saturday (we all love it). I have been torn between the S and the 4 for myself.. I found a 2010 4 at my local dealer for 14k out the door, (dont pay taxes) is that a good price? Also should i get a 2011 instead? is there a diff between a 2010 and a 2011?

thanks for your help.

It's going to depend on your riding, and how many people you'll want to tote around. If you already have one for your son an "S" might be the way to go. If you are on tighter trails and have to deal with tight turns etc, again the "S." However the 4 will soak up the whoops better because of the longer wheel base and will be an overall smoother ride. Of course with more people and weight you'll lose a little top end/power but in my opinion the 4 is the way to go. In a perfect world I'd have an "S" and "4" :)

sounds like a great price, I have an S and love it, but I will probably have to move to a 4, as I have three small children. Tim

I don't think I would buy an "S" even if money was no object. I have found nothing the 4 won't do that an S would, in fact, I think it is a better platform all around.

That is a good price. I decided on the 10 after the 11 was released to save about $2000. I am happy with it.

Looking back, I wish I had gotten the EPS model though. Full days on the trail with passengers and my hands are sore.

I agree...the 4 can do everything the S can do basically...even if I was a single man I would buy the 4 I think.....

Great!! that’s all i needed to hear!! i was worried i would buy the 4 and not have as much fun as the S. So now I’m sold on the 4! all i have to do now is decided between the 10 and the 11... hate decisions!

Sold my 2 seat RZR and bought the RZR 4. No regrets, it'll go nearly everywhere the other RZR would go but now w/4 people. Absolutely love it.

Just a reminder, the 4 is longer and taller that the S. Make sure, before you purchase, that your trailer can accommodate the extra length and height. Cookie cutter toy haulers and enclosed trailer do not have tall enough doors for the 4 to fit in.
