I bought a used RZR 170. Everything is awesome except I tried loading the buggy up yesterday and the brake went all the way down to the floor. Fluid level is fine, pads look good. Any ideas? I searched master cylinder and they go for 289. Hoping this is not the issue but seeing if you guys have any ideas?

I'm having the same issue at the moment. It stops when brakes are applied but not enough. I just replaced all three sets of pads which rear set was almost to metal so thought that was it, but issue remains. Tried bleeding the system a bit too thinking it might be air. It's a 2019 and still covered under the warranty so will probably cart it up to the dealer to see what's up. Will let all know what they say.

I bought a 2019 rzr 170 with about 20 hours on it and the parking brake started losing hold. I want to say I downloaded the owners manual and followed the directions to adjust it. Owner's Manuals | Polaris RZR Basically, I jacked the rear end to lift the rear wheels off the ground. I released the parking brake and placed the car in neutral. Found an adjustment bolt on the rear of the right rear brake caliper. I loosened the nut locking the adjustment bolt in place. Then I was able tighten the adjustment bolt until I felt a little tension on the free spinning wheel. Then I applied the parking brake and tried rotating the wheel. Once I found the right position for the adjustment bolt Which allowed comfortable application of the parking brake by an 11 year old and yet prevent the tires from spinning I then tightened the locking nut.

The issue with the parking brake design is the sweet spot is a ghost it seems. I’ve adjusted that nut/bolt numerous times. The only settings that are strong enough to hold the vehicle in place in park unfortunately engage the disc when released causing premature pad wear/brake burn. I’ve given up on it - can’t park that thing on a hill that’s for sure.
