Ok, I went hunting last weekend. My RZR 4 ran great until one day I started it and the exhaust was so rich the guy riding behind me got sick. i was coming down the mountain in low and it seemed really lumpy. When I got to the bottom and put it in high i tried to floor it and it would kill at full throttle.
as soon as I let up on the throttle it would come back on. I did this several times with the same result.
when we made it back to camp i turned it off and let it rest for a few minutes.
I started it up again and again the exhaust was really rich. It also seemed to make a ticking sound that i have never heard before. I turned it off and let it set for about an hour. Then I tried again. This time everything seemed to be normal.
and it hasn't done it since. I will add that it was really muddy up there and every nook and cranny was coated in mud. What do you guys think? I'm baffled.

Not alll the time,it might have had a piece of carbon stuck to it and finally blew off allowing full spark again, just saying- that is the first place i would look and go from there, coil wires loose, bad battery connections, just for starters
