It sucks but I have seen the email stating Polaris has discontinued future Rs1 production.

Well Hell.......Must be true, I just checked out the Polaris web site and they ghosted the RS1

Oh well, it just means I can shop different brands on my next machines instead of buying new turbo RS1's.

I like the Honda Transmission and not having to deal with belts. looks like new Talons are in my future.

talking to a Polaris engineer at the 2021 Sand Sports Show in CA he said the RS1 was the least selling unit and the production was slow. This was due to all the interchangeable parts were being used on the two seat models and the RS1 production numbers will slow. From this rumor it appears they stopped it. But no one has posted the link or official article to confirm this.

After experiencing this with the Honda Pilot that was only made for two years, I immediately sold my Pilots and bought RS1's fearing the same results. After a few years I thought my fears were unfounded, but here we are again.

Regardless of the financial loss I had already made up my mind to buy new turbo units as soon as they were announced. I know many people that were waiting for the turbo to buy.

I really think Polaris missed the boat on this one!

I find it interesting that Polaris has kept the RS-1 & RZR 570 listed on their website, but placed them into a new "Non Current" category. If they were simply gone, there would not be any reason to keep them listed in the 2022 RZR line. It looks to me like Polaris may be trying to gauge demand on these machines.

If anyone was seriously considering the purchase of an RS-1, it may be worth a visit to your local dealer and let them know that you would buy one if available. Money talks. This info will get back to Polaris corporate, and could possibly affect whether they kill the RS-1 or possibly make another run of them when all this Covid supply chain nonsense is over.

I recently spoke to a regional Polaris rep and he said that they only sell about 400 new units per year. For Polaris, 400 units is nothing and probably not even a break even proposition except for the same parts being used from other models. I can't see them continuing to build and definitely not putting any money into updating them.

If those numbers are right, then it's gone for sure.

As long as the racers keep running them, Polaris will still get the publicity. This should help with repair parts for us, as Polaris will have a vested interest in keeping these running at the track.

It’s a shame to hear the RS1 d/c. My wife and I both got new ones last year and at that point they were special order only so I knew what was coming next. I don’t see a need for turbo they’re fast enough as is! Sad thing is the after market parts probably won’t stay up to date. I find that only selling 400 RS1s per year a little hard to believe cause we see a lot of them out on the trails. Maybe they’ll bring it back in a couple years. The RS1 is just so much more fun than two seaters

I'm sure it's more than 400 per year. But anyways, go to Glamis during and event like Camp RZR. Look at the amount of 4 seaters out there. Everyone is taking the family and friends. I would bet just polaris 4 seaters out number their 1 seater 50 to 1. It's just the way things are right now. Not to mention, Just wait 10 years. This industry will be like sea doos. The prices will get so high people will stop buying. Or it will become like a boat where you buy on a 25 year loan.

Here you go RSPilot:

I had to take a lot more compression out form the baseline set up provided by Shock Therapy. This is good as the ride is super plush and a ton of room to add even more ride height if do do get any initial settling.

Current ride height with me in the car:
Front = 14.75 inches
Rear = 15.75 inches
Thank you for that info and the pics. My RS1 already had aftermarket tender springs on it when I bought it so I was never able to feel what it rides like stock. Therefore I don't really know if the ST springs would be much of an upgrade. My ride height is very similar to yours, but I don't have dual rate like you.
