I'm looking at milling the cylinder head 0.020 to increase the compression to 12:1. Does anyone know the piston to valve clearance, and would I have any issues with this?

Valve to piston clearance will vary between engines, it's one of those important things that has to be done to each individual engine so you won't bend valves or blow motors by machining too far, CC'ing the heads should be done first so you know where your compression ratio is for a base level to go from before you even think about milling the head, the easiest way to up the compression is tp put in Hi-compression pistons they usually have the valve pockets machined out to cover valve to piston without machining the head.
