I wouldn't have a canvas top personally. Seriously, my hard top roof looks like freddy kruger attacked it. I have cuts and scratches all over it from ramming it into branches. I can't imagine a soft top taking that.

 

I also have the hard top on mine. The other thing I was a little Leary of with the canvas top was if you trailer your razor the wind will in time shred the canvas. I pull mine 75 mph and I know the canvas won't hold up. Just a thought.

Had a canvas top, but when going over 10 or 15 MPH it flapped in the wind badly, i tried every way in the workd to keep it tight, would tighten it and the next time i rode would be loose again, plus they will hold water when it rains. They are ok for just a temporary top, but if your buying for the long run, better go with a hardtop.

We went with a soft top. The places we ride we spend to much time looking up to loose that with a hard top. As for trees on the 50" trails that we end up on we will just unbuckle and stow it . We don't trailer it with the top on

 

Same here...I just ordered a PRP soft top that matches my PRP seats (black, orange and white).
That is my plan as well...if im going to be riding a trail with lots of low hanging branches and stuff i will just un-velcro it and put it in my storage bag. I personally am not a fan of the hard tops, only because i don't care for the looks of them... I think the PRP soft tops look awesome. But i am aware that the hard tops are much more durable and a "better" investment in the long run if you ride in the woods.
Either way I hope to have a UTV inc cage sometime soon and it will have an aluminum roof skin on it.
