Sweet!!! I like the duallys

 

I'm about to order some and I think I'm going to mount them on my A pillars. Yours looks great.

 

I'd like some there too. If I could make them work with half windshield

 

Yeah I've been wondering about mounting them up higher maybe. I don't know if a person can or not. But I'd like to keep the half windshield also. Does anyone have any mounted higher on the A pillars? Pics if do.

 

I have the Dually D2's on our RZR mounted low on the A-Pillars and they work GREAT!! I used a mount that does not affect the use of a windshield.... We are a Rigid Dealer

i used the pillar mount utv inc sells, i have the mount/lights and the half windshield and pro armor doors which all use the pillar mounting location

I probably would have mounted mine on the pillars as well however with a front windshield it is difficult. I didn’t want to modify/or cut my windshield that is why I mounted them on the front brush guard. The Polaris Brush guard that is on my Razor actually has tabs already drilled for lights, so I just used the existing holes.

 

Finally got around to taking some Finished project Pictures. Very happy with the outcome.

Does the purple light stay on even if you turn the key off?

 

No it does not

 

I just installed my duallys, even though i turn off the rzr the light switch stays on. The positive wire was the only one touching and i could still turn the lights on without having the negative touch. I switched the connections and still the same. Any help pls. I already looked at everything twice.

 

I actually bought another switch to use for the install at advance auto parts. That may have something to do with it. Triple check to make sure you have the wires hooked up to the right connectors per the diagram that came with the lights. I am assuming you wired it straight to your battery?

 

Also make sure the switch is in the correct position when hooking up the leads and stays in that same position when installing it in the dash

 

I did what the instructions said. I also looked it up in youtube. It all looks good except it still stays on. Ill look at it again tomorrow and see if i screw up. Hope not. Thanks a lot.

what mount did you use? I know this is an old thread but I want to do the same with the half windshield.

 

I guess I just need to know what mount will work with the duallys and a half windshield on a 2015 570

I'm about ready to mount my duallys on the a pillar, but am having problems figuring out how to run the light wires down under the hood along side the A pillar without cutting the plastics (the dually connector is too large to fit the factory enlargement). Any help/pictures would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance...

 

You have to cut the end and reconnect them.

i loosened almost the whole front body to gain clearance for the connectors to squeeze through
