Shoot Steve at Makin Trax a pm. He'll help you out. I'm not up on highlifter springs. They maybe all you need. Sorry I couldn't help more.

their is a rear sway bar?????

if you have good shocks take that bugger off..... mine is scrap metal.

Made mine a campfire poker:rofl3:
Get rid of them! The RZR rides sooooooooooo much better without them! But defiantly upgrade at a minimum your springs!
I'll have to settle for the Highlifter Springs that I have. The Makin' Trax Springs are way out of my price range. I currently have my shocks in the lowest setting and I could clear 31" Outlaws, if I wanted to, with my RDC 2" lift kit and HL floorboard kit.

I had mine off and tried several different spring rates. I put it back on because I like high speed trails and it rolled and wallard to much for good control at high speeds. Alot of guys on hear will take ride over performance......I'm not one of those. I did like the "ride" better but it performs and handles much better with the bars on it. Now if you had the right setup with high dolla shocks and sprung accordingly that might be better but then you would really have to change your setup for the type of riding you are going to do on a given day. I had 300# springs on mine at one point to get the roll out of it and the stock shock could'nt handle that much spring.

X2, if you're running at least fox podiums they can handle having no rear sway bar..mines off and if you've seen my pictures it runs great..+ I have new springs on the way!

X2If you have good shocks & springs
Like I said at least Fox Podiums if removing the rear bar!

Steve is truly a great guy with a wealth of knowledge in this field, I'm currently waiting on my Dual rate springs to arrive from RacerTech, and for Steve to get a set of Progressives together for me (just waiting on a "dinged" pair because I'm getting them re-powder coated)

I don't think you've been quoted the right price at a little over $400 for springs isn't bad..If you're looking at shocks too then it get very high on the $ scale.. (i don't know what you consider high, that's private, I just wasn't sure if you thought they were like a thousand bucks?)

I don't take ride over performance at all! I want both, but there has to be some give and take, Your best bet is to remove them...See how you like it..It only takes 30 minutes to reinstall the front and rear sways after they have been removed...
That makes me a x4 or 5 for removing them, but if the forum kept on the subject I bet you could REALLY hit that +100!!:):)

depends what kinda rider you are, if you remove it it wont handle as good in turns at high speeds. if you rock craw or mud more than ride on road or flat fast trails then take it off, you gain alot of body roll
I ride mud and trails. I have the front one disconnected and really couldn't tell any difference. I may disconnect the rear and see if I like it.

How fast do you ride? If you don't ride very fast then take it off, or get a swaybar disconnect for the front and just pull a pin for the slower stuff. I happen to have one forsale cause it won't work with my current setup.

Does anyone make an aftermarket rear sway bar that isnt so stiff? I'm looking for something that splits the difference between having it off or on.

I have a 2010 RZR LE and had them off with the stock shocks and springs and did not like it any where but rock crawling. Just to much body roll with the stock shocks at max preload. I think the guys with the wider rides dont have this issue.

I've asked a guy at a local race shop to make a one off rear sway bar with about 1/2 of the resistance as the stock one. I'm not sure how its going to work, but I'll let you know.
