Hi, Today I installed a racer tech 2" lift. The lift went really good and was around 2 hrs to bolt it up. How ever in doing this I noticed the rear end was out by spinning the wheels. I let the wheels spin well the car was jacked at a few hun RPM and could see the dif was out of balance or some thing. The rzr drives fine on the road up to 60 km then it shakes. How can I find out if my frame is bent?

OK...what do you mean by "the rear end was out"?

If it was vibrating or moving in the frame, then go to your service manual and follow the sequence for tightening the diff to the trans and to the frame. There are a lot of bolts!!

If you mean that, while the rear wheels are turning, the rear axle shafts do not appear to be a "straight line". That would be different. It might still be lose mounting bolts, and it could be a CV joint.

But there are things to check before thinking its the frame.

Check these things and let us know what you find. We'll go from there.

The tires are in good shape, I took it to the dealer and there saying its because of the racer tech lift. I just put it on 48 hrs ago. They are also saying the left axle is bent and all my A-arm bushings need to be replaced, the bushings seemed fine for me the axle no cule. The top shock mount is almost gone, could a bent axle wear the bushing out to nothing ? They are also saying the lift is causing the axles to bind. I thought racer tech had NO CV issues to date, so I think that's weird. If the CV bind wouldn't the car not roll ?

same here, the was I see it is there ticked cuz every thing on the rzr I have done, I have no problem bolting things on but when things start going wrong im stumped. I really hope the axle is bent that's a cheaper fix, I guess just try a new one and if it shakes like crazy still I should try some one els ? Do you guys think buying a heavy duty after market axle would be good or should I just stick with stock ones

I would prolly go with aftermarket. Oem are way too expensive! Only way I would buy oem is if the rzr is still under warranty, in which case I would be trying to get them to warranty the bent 1! Lol! I actually did get them to warranty 1 for me, but that was before I put my lift on.

First, I would take the "bent" axle out and make sure it really is "bent".

You can set it on the bench and use a straight edge the length of the exposed axle, to see if it is actually "bent". At HomeDepot you can buy 3ft sections of 10ga x 1" flat stock that you can cut to length. Make great straight edges!

How many miles does your machine have on it?

Do you keep the chassis lubed?

Just a few things to check...to see if the dealer is being on the level with you!
