Real story on pro r availability

Hello, Local dealer has been jerking me around for over a year. Was told today that the one I inquired about well over a year ago will ship late Feb early March… was told it will still be a 2022 model, that’s not a big deal but when I questioned him what the price is gonna be/MSRP still he shut down… called around to other dealers and heard all kinds of different stories.. was told not releasing 2023s yet, stop ride, surcharges from Polaris, some had below MSRP on launch edition. Why/ what is going on? Over a year wait…..is Polaris slow rolling release? Is my local dealer not allocated any? I can deal with the truth. Please advise.

You got a bad dealer. Not sure where you are located - but if East - check with Knoxville Powersports in Knoxville TN - they had three 2 seat Ultimate and 3 four seat ultimate in stock last week. All 2023's.

link: 2023 Polaris RZR Pro R Ultimate

Real Story on Pro R - November 2021 order bank opened for 400 +/- launch edition cars - sold out in less than a minute. Most dealers got none. Later in November 2021 dealers received their initial allocation for 2022 Pro R's to be delivered in first half of 2022. Second allocation to dealers in late May - early June 2022 - for remainder of 2022's, target delivery by November 2022. 2023 order bank opened in October 2022 for 2023' - first cars starting delivering last week of December 2022 - and more in January 2023.

Dealer games - get as many deposits as they can, even though they know they don't have cars, just to use your money. If you have a real order, dealer can look in Polaris system and tell you where it sits in the process. Beyond that dealers can get little information on dates moving as to why etc.

Polaris delivery issues - some part shortages caused cars to get put in "parts hold purgatory" and were set aside - other cars bypassed - for example I got confirmed order in June 2022 with target delivery Sept 2022. As of today I still don't have a car - target delivery is now 2-10-23 - delivered as a 2022. Others ordered 2023's in October and got 2023's in the past month - luck of the draw.

Supercup is spot on in my experience, I ordered it in mid-April, build order put in Oct 2022 for 2023 VIN, and got it 2 weeks ago.
Bob's Cycle in Sidney , OH - best below MSRP pricing and great to deal with.

Just picked up my 23 Azure a couple weeks ago...had a black on order but this one came in and wasnt spoken for .

the Black one's supposed to deliver first week in February now say's it's built
Move on and get a new dealer!!!

Late 2022 I had the choice to order a 2022 or a 2023 as there were a couple 22's available for my dealer. I passed on the 2022 and had them order a 2023. The order was placed in early October of 2022, fast forward to about three weeks and presto I have a new 2023 Pro R 4 / Ultimate in Azure Crystal!!

I've been told the lead times for getting a Pro R "2" are completely out of whack... especially Ultimate Stealth (mine). But, yeah, "move on and get a new dealer!!!" is spot on

Ridenow took my money in October. No nothing, just keep waiting they say. Guess ill need to start calling around and eat the deposit maybe.

In California deposits are refundable by law. I asked Del Amo and Ride Now when they said "we can get you one, just need a deposit of $1,000" - I responded with where am I in line - both got back to me and I was north of 50 down the line at both - I declined to give a deposit, even though refundable!

And yes if you want 2 seat in Stealth Black for 2023 - you need to find one at a dealer since early November you have not been able to order Stealth Black in 2 seater - Polaris saying they are sold out for 2023, no other explanation - but you could order Azure Blue. I ordered a Azure Blue 2023 week before Christmas (this is an "allocated" spot dealer had) - it is not yet scheduled - being in California may be adding to our delays - seem to be car's in inventory in mid west and southeast.
Here in So Cal. I called my sales guy beginning of December if they had any 2 seat Pro R Ultimates in stock. He indicated they didn’t have any but would keep a look out. 2 weeks later he called me and said one came in and the guy that had a deposit on it couldn’t get it approved. He also said that about 25 other guys in line had deposits, but could say I was his relative and get me in. I had not given a deposit mind you.
Well. I picked it up that weekend.
Sales guy said they weren’t suppose to receive any more than til March. But who knows.

Right place - right time - as for the sales guy - moral compass is off kilter!

I have had no issue getting a refund from Ridenow in AZ, either.

Totally agree. I know not all sale people are like that but there is a reason why I have a general disdain for them when I go to any dealership.
Any recommendations for transport from oklahoma to az?
I ordered my 2023 Pro R 4 Ultimate on November 2022 from I69 in TN. Paid 4K below MSRP plus $139 in dock fees. I put a $500 deposit down. I was 40 plus in line of a list. I had an allocation in the Polaris system within a week. My machine came in December of 2022. Paid $1700 to shipped it to Arizona and it's currently resting in my garage. However. If you live in Cali, there are other registration issues you may need to look into

Sounds like some dealers get preferential treatment? Or there’s a system that rewards higher volume dealers? I still have no 2022….

Late 2021 I ordered a 2022 Pro XP 4 from a smaller dealer in Cottonwood, AZ. They had much better pricing than RideNow based on the numbers. I ended up canceling 7 months in because the machine didn't come in. I think it ended up arriving in Agust and by that time it was pretty much last years model.

Anyway I am happy I canceled and Polaris did reward me with a speedy delivery of my Pro R 4 ultimate. So thanks Polaris for that.
