I don't think engine will run for long with set up on minimum of 0.0059 and 0.0098 end gaps . Look to me more like plus/ minus 0.0059 from 0.0138 for top and 0.0098 plus/minus from 0.0197 for second should be right, but agree it is strange how they printed that in manual. IMHO

Honestly I rather go with recommendation from high performance piston suppliers like JE . They recommend for street Bore X 0.0045 minimum for top Bore X 0.0050 minimum for second
for turbo Bore X 0.0050 top and Bore X 0.0055 for second minimum .
