Anybody run both of these tires? Looking for some feedback. I can get the rampages today, carnivore seem to be on back order... Carnivore was my original choice.

Looking at the Rampage as a possible replacement tire when my Canivores wear out. I like the looks of them. Only possible draw back is their lower max load rating. They are rated for 67 lbs. less per tire than the Carnivore. 550 vs 617 Don't know how big a deal that is, but it should mean something. Pretty easy to option up a machine and load it with people and be pushing 2200 lbs.

I thought the rampage was 606, and the Carnivore was 617. Only 11 pounds per tire... Not a crazy amount.

tread depth on the rampage is 19/32 and the carnivore is 28/32 I have put 500 miles on my carnivores and the rear tires have significantly less tread than the front about time to rotate or just burn them off and replace the rear set. if you run on hard pack at higher speeds that seems to chew them up I know drifting around corners doesn't help tread life but sometimes I cant contain my enthusiasm.

Carnivores are a great all around tire. The Rampage supposedly is the same as the Carnivores, same tread pattern, just with supposedly a slightly harder compound, BUT less tread depth so that's the trade off. I have new Carnivores to try out but haven't gotten out yet.

I just put the Rampages on my xp4 turbo but have not taken it out. I like the looks and have heard they hold up better than the carnivore.

Carnivores have good traction but they wear awfully fast. I wish I would of stuck with my tensor regulators. If u ride hardpack or asphalt at all, the carnivores will get eaten up

Rampage is definitely not the same tread pattern as the carnivore, much tighter tread. I'm really torn between these two myself. I'm leaning to the rampage but not sure I'll be happy with the traction.

I'd rather give up some mileage than traction. My buddy has Rampages and they seem to do good. If you keep them rotated the Carnivores should wear decent.

What makes you lean towards the rampage? Mileage is not a concern of mine, traction is important...

Mileage is definitely the biggest piece. Traction comes first, but it's all a balance for me. I really try to avoid mud and I'm thinking in rocks the rampage should do pretty well with less wear. Unfortunately mud is part of life here in the midwest, but you'll never see me in a mud pit. I also do road ride on occasion, and I'm sure they are smoother there.

Absolutely love the Rampages... my favorite tire by far. The only variable I can think of is treadwear, but it will be a while before that becomes a factor.

Seem to be wearing better than the X-Comps I had.

Okay, right from the Maxxis site. Much better! Will definitely be my replacement tire after seeing this. 15" on my KRX.

Does anybody know if Maxxis is on the forum? I can't seem to get an ETA from any of there dealers. Nationwide back order is what I keep getting told.

I ordered from Mudthrowers about a month ago and they were on backorder then as well. They sourced them from other places to get them to me. I just checked and mudthrowers.com has the rampages in all sizes in stock and the carnivores are all in stock except for the 15x32.
