I have a 2017 1000s and wanting to put a tablet mount in, I have seen the RAM mounting system that hook on the passenger grab handle. Could you all please put some pics up of tablet mounts with that mount and best Samsung tablet to use🇺🇲

I too have a 2017. Love Ram products. Super solid . Thats not a Samsung in the pic, but I now have a Samsung in that same mount.

The setup I have a pic of with the Ram ball, I rode for 8 hours Saturday and it didn't move an inch. Trail and rock crawling if that helps🇺🇲

That’s probably the issue, I run the C size and mine doesn’t move. Ram recommends the B size for phones and cameras.

Originally I was thinking the same, but the movement I'm referring to is the ball connection directly on the back of the Garmin. It's not any of the connections with the RAM mounts. I wouldn't think that would matter, but I could be wrong

You may have to consider a different cradle from Ram that will hold your Garmin. You may also be able to upgrade to a size C on your original cradle. Can you post a photo?
I use C size on a 10” tablet and ride very rough stuff. No issues moving.

I keep forgetting to take pictures. I went on a ride again this weekend and I actually think you guys might be right so I'm going to try the next size up and see how it does. I think it'll result in the same, so I'm also going to find a different way to attack the Garmin to the mount setup instead of using the ball.
On a side note, has anyone found a good case for the garmins drivesmart series to help keep is protected from the dirt and water?

In case anyone is interested, I just listed my RAM tablet mount in the classified section. I used in on my '16 Turbo. Uses C balls and is very sturdy.
Ram Mount for tablet
Went to center dash mount on my Velocity as it had the open center dash area where Ride Command would normally go. Used the UTV Inc. kit and a Mob Armor mount. Works well too.
