I took my bike into get serviced Monday. They called yesterday saying it was ready. Its a 2010 rzr s. Only to get all fluids changed an spark plugs changed out. Well when i went to pick it up the bill was a little more then the quote so i asked a couple of questions an with no hesitation really knocked off 50 bucks of the bill. Well they didn't tell me at first but after asking question they told me the put a drain plug in. Well when they told me that i assume it was where my belt box is cause that what would tend to get water in most likely then anywhere else. Well when i got home i checked it out an couldn't find the plug. To come find out they put a plug on the bottom of my air filter cover. Why would this be done? My bike isn't snorkeled. Is this common? Any info will help. I knew the older bikes had air box problems but not really the newer bikes. I have 4 more years on my warrantee. Would this void it? Any help please.
Thanks Kris

Hmm..this is common on Polaris ATVs since the airbox lid is on top..but for a RZR this is a new one on me..even if you got water in the air box you could just pop the cover off and drain it(wouldn't mater though if you got much in you'd have to pull the tube off the throttlebody as well, at least)..weird IMO. Really weird for a Polaris dealer to do without someone specifically asking..maybe they got their jobs mixed up:rofl3:

its illegal for a company to do work to your vehicle without prior approval. need to really tick it to them and make them replace your airbox
Thats exactly correct. They have to notify you and have you consent especially if their was an extra charge. If it was something they did on their own as a gesture to service you and your machine then ok maybe. But I still haven't heard anything about a plug being added to anyone elses on here.

Yes ask the question again and see what they say.
