Ok outside the vendors input on why theirs is the best, I am looking for outside input.
If anyone has had the oppurtunity to view, operate, sit in and rest your arm, fit, install each door. What your thoughts are?
I can't go to a local store and see them in person and can't make heads or tails of everything I have read on each.
I like the Pro Armor aluminum without cutouts, yet I read that the door latch is poor, intallation requires drilling into the frame, doors don't lift off, rubs paint off fenders, and getting the right fit can be quite tedious.
UTV Inc has positive feed on their rock solid door latch, easy lift off and ease of installation. I have yet to hear the downfalls of the UTV Inc.
For the fact these things are only what I have read certainly means the input may not be completely accurate. This will probably help many people in making their current and future decision as well.

I think it's a matter of which one looks and fits the best for you. They're both nice doors. Pro Armor has new latches they will be releasing any time that solve the poor latch design. UTV Inc's are nice also, and have a slightly different "skin" design. It's all a matter of preference. For instance, UTV Inc's are Steel, and therefore have to be powder coated. Pro Armor's are Aluminum, and can be left with the brushed finish (which I think is a more durable finish in the long run) or can be purchased with Powder Coating. The UTV Inc doors can be removed which is nice if you need it, but most average people won't necessarily need a feature like that.

In the end, it's all about where you want to spend your money, and what looks and works the best for you. Both companies provide exceptional support, and are very reputable. Good luck.

Just pick the one that looks the best to you and fits your budget. They are both nice doors. ProArmor has 10X more doors sold here than UTV, that doesn't mean they are better just bigger. That makes your poll kind of pointless but your question is good.

I have ProArmor doors and am very happy with them and I have never had any issue with the latch. I don't know anything about the UTV doors.

Both doors are very nice and both have their advantages. I personally have the UTVinc trail doors and could not be happier with them. They are very well built and the latch is awesome. I mainly wanted the lift off functionality and these fit that need and man are they built very strong.

Well there you go Roaddawg. I also have the ProArmor doors, black without cutouts and love them. There is no drilling into the frame required by the way. The only drilling is for the pin for the latch system. So if I were you I wait a week or twoish for the new ProArmor doors with the new latch system. If those are the look you like. From what I have read, everyone like the UTV Inc. doors as well.

So to break it down.
Looks. Which one do you like?
Latch. After the new latch from ProArmor this is a wash.
Function. The Utv Inc. gives you the ability to take their door off. I have never had a need so if you do, there you go.

Hope that helps. Either way go, doors have been one of the best upgrades I have done.

Aluminum= No rust

Net Option= cool air and being able to see the terrain.

Slots, no slots in the panels

Bare aluminum if you want it. No need to powder coat.

Come on Bob, at least give them a date when they will be available. If you going to tell them to wait they deserve that. Do you have any specs on the doors? You mention built better. I have the ProArmor doors and they are built great.

I am busting your balls here. I know. A buddy of mine is looking for doors right now as well so this is for him as well. If you have great doors coming out I want to pass that onto him but you have to give us more.

TheMadProfessor thanks for the information you seemed to have understood what input I was looking for.
As for FUTV vII doors coming soon.... Some will say don't be the first to try the new and don't be the last to get rid of the old. I agree you don't make mention something new is coming soon. Every politician uses that line and we are still waiting.
Just save the trouble Bob and send me a set as advertisement.

Hoping within the month, and these are a newer better version of our current doors. When I say built better I mean tougher, safer. Just had a customer roll his RZR with our doors and the cross bracing took a direct hit from a very large rock. the doors and cage both were pretty bent up, but had the cross bracing not been there i.e, no cross bracing or just a net, it's quite likely the passenger would have suffered serious injury. We're looking at 2 new versions, one wide style and one similar to our doors now for the 50 in conscious riders. New latching system as well.

I have bought from ProArmor for years on all my quads and now my RZR-S. I was having an issue fitting the nerf bars on my quad out at Glamis. We just happened to be parked across from the ProArmor rig. I walked over to see if one of the techs was over there to ask a question. Alex, the owner of the company was working on his brand new at the time Class-1 car. He stops what he is doing to come over and give me a hand fitting it on. To top it off gave me a few T-shirts.

I have told that story a ton of times but I never forget customer service like that and like so I make sure to share it with others. Especially since customer service seems to have gone out the window lately.
