Do these Method Wheels keep your machine the stock width? Is 5+2 the magic offset number to keep a SXS stock width?

A 4+3 will keep a 900 at stock width. It will make a 1000 4" wider than stock in the front and 3" in the rear (stocks are 5+1 in the front antd 6.5+1.5 in the rear).

A 5+2 will make a 1000 2" wider in the front and and 1" wider in the rear.

My machine with 5+2 wheels is 64" wide. 4+3 makes them wider.
Totally agree! I had 5+2 HD5 wheels on my 900 and it remained stock width (64" Wide), which is the main reason I bought that wheel. I really just asked the question for confirmation.

What is the best DOT approved 30" tire for AZ desert?
I live in phx and do mostly desert riding, I'm really happy with the rage thunder I have, they are dot and very inexpensive for the performance they offer, cheaper than mongrels, tensor...

.
Wow glad I found this thread.
well so know I have to choose between the Rage Thunder or Storm!??!?!?!

What a great price point and appears to be the perfect tire for Arizona Desert riding. :AZ::AZ:

BCORUM - man those are some knarly tires!
What kind of trails you riding?
Thanks man! I love in NC but we ride here VA and WV. We ride trails most are muddy ride swamps most weekends and lots of soft bottom creeks.
