Is your remote waterproof and if not, was it subjected to too much moisture. It sounds like maybe the buttons might not be making consistent contact.

 

The last time I had a wench on my Turbo S, she looked like this

Are you sure you spooled the rope on the correct direction, because it sounds similar to what happens when it gets wound wrong?

 

CrazyElecE has a good point I would add its an easy check of the magnetic switch with a magnet and multimeter. good luck let the forum know how you solve the problem so we can all learn from your experience. JMHO

 

No one likes a worthless wench.

 

The winch is likely bound on itself. Let it out all the way and reload it while going in a back and forth motion. Check the battery. The solder on my battery terminal came loose and made it work sporadically.

 

Sometimes it's hard to get those wenches to go both ways.

I have a Polaris wench on my 2019 Turob S that started out working fine with no problems. Now after I let the line out and remotely pull it in, it does not stop at the magnet when it gets to the end. It got bound up and almost never got it loose. Second thing I noticed on the wireless remote, is that it only pulls in and does not respond to the out button when pressed. Anyone has any answers?

My wench is in the kitchen, cooking my dinner.
