Where are you finding them on the website? I saw them at dunefest and took a few pictures to remind me to look them up, but I don't see them anywhere on the Proarmor site.

 

They are in the polaris website. Just the size and price. What I'm trying to fund out is how much they weigh.

 

The rears are 2lbs lighter that the GMX Sand Stripper XL's, which are 30 lbs.

 

Anybody try these out already ?

BUMP: Im also interested in some feedback on these paddles. Any one have them yet??

 

I put 60 miles on the 30" Pro Armors yesterday, at Glamis, on a XP 4 Turbo.

I weighed them as well.

Front: 23.20 lbs
Rear: 32.95 lbs

I mounted them on 8" wide front, 10" wide rear NON beadlock Polaris Lyte Forged dune wheels (15.75lbs F, 16.8lbs R).

The look like good quality, not cheap like STI paddles. I'm no paddle expert, but I have owned Skats and STU's on my previous XP 4 10000. The Pro Armor has a lot of paddles, which made it harder to slide the rear around, I might have them stagger cut. The Turbo pulled them no problem, the true 30" was bigger that my previous 2.85" STU's and floated better.

Overall I would recommend for a Turbo, they are lighter that a GMZ Sand Stripper XL, even with twice as many paddles.

 

How did they pull the big hills? (China, Brawley Slide, Lizard)??

Yes, a tire will always mount on a skinnier wheel it will just change the profile of the tire. Should round it out a little instead of being so flat. But it will definitely change the characteristics of how it performs. Good or bad that will be up to you. My front buffs are 12" wide and I run them on the stock 6" wide front wheel and they're fine.

 

Anyone get more experience with these?

 

There heavy and like to dig. Nobody will follow you with as much sand as they throw up.

 

Im.just curious does anyone know what the pro armors height actually measure out to be when mounted ?
