Yes the new clamps are on a half windshield for testing .

Dealers should have them in stock. I personally love the clamps. I have seen them hold 350 lbs. and they were tested by Polaris over 1000 times. MUCH easier than the rubber lined clamps!

 

So you just squeeze them together by hand and you can also pop it apart by hand?

 

Yes, you literally can take your windshield, roof, speakers, etc. on and off in 15 seconds...It is awesome for us dealers that move accessories from display to different display on the showroom floor.

A guy named Goffman in Minnesota. They are a bit pricey, $20/clamp. The upside is that in product development the clamps lasted over 1000 locks. If people are interested, I am a dealer and I would love to move them quick from my dealership, less than MSRP, a lot of little sales are better than nothing. Got my lock and ride roof and windshield last week. Nice product itll be nice to easily pop the roof off to get some sun from time to time

 

Are these clamps substantial enough to keep the roof on while transporting down the highway at 70 mph?

 

That's a good question.

 

I see they still dont have the bend on the windshield figured out.
