I think you might just be over analyzing the fact that they are doing some site work? Could be that they arent advertising them until they get the recall work complete on the 16's? I am pretty positive that they had a 17 at the dealer show. Maybe I am wrong though.

Guys, relax...the Turbo is getting some attention to detail it needs. I was just at the convention and all is well. It will be a month or two before the 2017 is released but rest assured Polaris is doing right by us and correcting some issues. It will be worth the wait!

Some times the only way to learn is ask a question,
Why don't they make a turbo 1200 with 24" travel? With a built in kegerator, that doubles as a floating thing for floating down river while having a cold draft beer

I remember about a year ago or so at an owners council meeting everyone was commenting on "where's the damn turbo?" Polaris listened and we got a pretty well designed turbo vehicle. IMO The problem was there were issues with the added power beyond what Polaris did to beef up the drivetrain. Add the knucklehead factor and you have some design issues that weren't anticipated. I appreciated that Polaris disclosed these issues and is going to get it right before more vehicles get in the field. This beats my experience with the recall on my 2014 XP. In that recall all the unsold units got fixed first and I waited 2+ months. I hope when Polaris does what ever recall items us 2016 XPT owners get some of the 2017 upgrades too.

Yeah I mean my view is kind of biased because I definitely got a lemon/ nightmare story. Front differential, over heated excessively, missing a bolt on my primary, cv issues and all of these issues within 20 hours. And it was tooth and nail to get all that covered. Still dealing with the over heating issue they don't want to fix... I am aware a lot of that is dealer issues as well but still that many issues on a 30k rig + all the after add-ons necessary for longevity: (

If you only have a 6 month polaris and make the case with their consumer rep, they might extend your factory warranty another 3 months as they have for a few other turbo owners. I was told to pound sand.

I have an aftermarket ext warranty.

I believe they're going to release the 17' Turbo specs after Can-Am reveals their new unit. I purchase a XP1000 roughly two years ago and if it wasn't for the RPMone warranty covering failures it would've been a huge money pit, so I'm still a little skeptical upgrading to the Turbo. Nevertheless, I looking forward to the 2017 official release!
