Before I start ranting about my dealership Ridenow Boulder, they were amazing to work with through the sales process. I went in to get pre-approved for a 2015 and ended up walking out with a 2014 with $2000 worth of thrown in accessories and an all around great experience. I'm just curious if Polaris always works as slow as an insurance company to authorize repairs. I bought a 2014 XP4 1000 on August 2nd. I took it out for a couple hours with my 5 and 7 year olds so nothing crazy. I went to wash it on the Tuesday after we went out and noticed it was leaking what turned out to be tranny fluid. I took it back to the dealership the following day and they have had it for the last week. I was told it would be done today Weds 8/13 or tomorrow 8/14 at the latest. So I call today and they tell me that they had to jump through hoops to get authorization through Polaris. Now they have to put it back on the schedule so I won't get it back until Saturday evening at the earliest but most likely Tuesday. I'm sure the 2 families that we had to cancel going camping with to try out the RZR because they are interested in getting one will be thinking twice now since they are already Can-Am ATV owners. It's hard to wrap my head around the fact that Polaris took so long to Authorize a repair on a leak on a brand new machine. Do they not trust their dealerships that much that they make them jump through hoops just to get a repair authorized?
