I have a question for you guys that have plows on your Rzr. I know alot of people dont like the polaris plow but I had one for my 4 wheeler and loved how easy it was to get on and off anyway I need input from you guys that have either setup. First what bumpers will work with either plow setup? Second the mounting plate do you have to take it off for ground clearance in the summer when not using the plow? Last is anyone using one of these setups with a bumper that has the winch up higher? does the angle of the winch cable create a problem? Thanks guys I am looking to get a plow set up before winter they are calling for a strong winter in the east:ride:

I've got the Polaris plow and I like it alot. Super easy to take off so I can go riding if I want and the bracket is rather unobtrusive as well. In the summer I do take the bracket off for a little better approach angle, but it's only 4 bolts and doesn't require removing any other parts.

I'm also running the Polaris pre-runner style bumper and their winch and mount.

I do imagine the PoPo bracket could be more sturdy, but as long as you don't run over a bunch of curbs, edging or plow a SUPER rough surface (like pot holed) it's just fine.

i dont know if its the same with the rzr but i have had cycle country, warn and polaris blades with my atv's and the warn was junk! it was new and after about 4 snows i already had to weld it in 2 spots, wore out quick also! the other 2 wore good but the polaris is easier to get on and off.

attached is a pic of the Warn provantage mounting bracket on the RZR S. It doesn't hinder ground clearance any. Very easy to attach the plow if you leave the bracket on, just two pins.

With the bracket on the brush guard doesn't mount up. I think you would have to alter the bottom part of where it mounts (I have one but haven't installed it yet as it didn't appear to fit with the plow mount). I have some ideas that aren't overly complicated to adjust the brush guard to it will mount.

Take a look at Eagle Mfg. I have their 66" v-plow in mine and have loved it since day one! Two winters of use and abuse and have yet to replace anything!

My experience has been with a Polaris ATV, not a RZR and I can only talk to the quality of the Polaris and Warn. I had a Polaris Plow and it was a complete piece of garbage. I 1 season I took it all off and put on a Warn ProVantage system. Wow, what a difference in quality between the two. 2 years later and the warn hasnt given me an issues. In fact, im looking for another ProVantage system right now for the RZR. I know there are other systems out there, but the Warn has been proven with me. On a side note, if you get the Provantage system you can get a PowerPivot from Warn and it turns the blade. It used a toggle switch similar to the winch toggle and you control its angle. Nothing like never having to get out to turn the blade.

I ordered the Polaris plow setup and also ordered the 66" UHMW plow blade. UHMW is good stuff so it will never rust. Sucks because you can't use it to push around dirt but I don't plan to use it for dirt. I have heard good things about the Polaris setup and also the Warn setup. If Warn had offered a UHMW blade I might have bought their system. I'll be sure to post my input on the Polaris system and UHMW blade after this winter....

Pretty sure the RZR 4 800 is the standard plow mount from Polaris. The same one as the RZR 800. The Glacier II. If you have a RZR XP 900 4 then Polaris doesn't make a plow for the XP's. I wish they would.
